What do YOU want to accomplish this year? And how may I support you?

Happy New Year! I am so thankful to be in the Virgin Islands with family and friends having a good ole time before heading back to grad school. Here are a couple pics from my vacations. Yahoo. You can see an entire album on my Facebook page.

Well, over the past few months I have been thinking and praying about how I can help as many people as possible.

In short, I have one goal this year and it is to give. I plan to pay it forward by helping others realize their God given dreams and potential in whatever areas of life they are committed to take courageous action.

I will accomplish this through group coaching and virtual courses. I have the heart of a mentor so I need to get to it. Groups are forming soon.

Wanna join one? I am launching the first one in early spring 2013. Details will be sent to this list, posted on Facebook and at my site.

But before I get busy planning the courses, I want to hear from you. What do you want to learn this year? What women’s coaching groups would speak to your current needs?

Here are a few ideas. Which one(s) speaks to you? Offer Suggestions.

* Career Transitions: Getting back to joy at a less than perfect job. Discerning whether to stay put or move on.

* Career Essentials: Developing critical skills of success in the workplace.

* Still Waiting: A single women’s mentoring group on how to maximize your single years.

* Vision Quest: A virtual weekend retreat to clarify vision and take next steps toward tangible dreams

* Others? I am hungry for ideas. I want to help you on your journey. YOU tell me what you want to learn in a group format with me as your coach?

Details:
These courses will be live and virtual. You will join women from all over the nation.

There will be a quick teaching with an action guide, implementation challenges and live coaching to address your unique situation. The course length will vary (from a one hour stand alone course to a one month coaching group that meets every week for 50-60 minutes). Recordings will be available if you are unable to attend live. The price point will be affordable. I will also offer free opportunities as well.

The best part is you can join from the comfort of your own home. All you need is a phone and internet access. Fun, fun.

Will you take one minute and provide feedback by completing a confidential survey that popped up on the screen or go here.

I am cheering you on toward your God given dreams in 2013.

In full, unwavering support of you. Brenda B

I really like Seth Godin. You should too. Check him out online.
He’s smart, brief and to the point.
He just sent out a blog post that’s got me buzzing. I just love his simplicity.
So, have you ever felt stuck? Me too, sista. ;-)

I hate that sticky feeling… Makes a girl wanna scream, cry and belt out a big meowwwww.

Makes you wonder: “how did I get here and when will I get over?” :-(

It’s is no fun. Being stuck drains our energy, saps our joy and creates a wall between us and our dreams.

Here’s Seth’s advise. Pretty powerful stuff. Read it a couple times…on the third or so read, you may start to feel angry and then motivated. You may even start to feel yourself peeling off the wall and picking yourself up by your bootstraps and into action.
Happy reading!

The best way to get unstuck by Seth Godin www.sethgodin.com

Don’t wait for the right answer and the golden path to present themselves.

This is precisely why you’re stuck.
Starting without seeing the end is difficult, so we often wait until we see the end, scanning relentlessly for the right way, the best way and the perfect way.

The way to get unstuck is to start down the wrong path, right now.

Step by step, page by page, interaction by interaction. As you start moving, you can’t help but improve, can’t help but incrementally find yourself getting back toward your north star.

You might not end up with perfect, but it’s significantly more valuable than being stuck.

Don’t just start. Continue. Ship. Repeat.

Thanks, Seth. Good stuff.
Have a great week getting unstuck. I am praying the same for myself.
