Yes! I have been to Haiti. Back in the 90s during my visit, it was a land torn by grief, despair and deep hunger.
When I heard about the earthquake, I was devastated. I couldn’t imagine this island being any more destitute, destroyed or impoverished.
As we all consider what we can do, enjoy this video from Kirk Franklin.
He wrote a song, got a few celebrities to donate their time and talents, and
the result is a most melodic prayer shot across the seas to a little island nation who
has the attention of the whole wide world.
